Our Beginning

Peabody Farm started in 2012 with two red pigs and 60 acres of land in Saint-Pierre-de-Wakefield. In 2015, we moved to our beautiful farm in Venosta, Quebec, where we have continued to grow.

Our heritage pigs are born and raised right here on the farm, with plenty of space to roam, explore the fields, and spend time in the woods. We believe that giving our animals the opportunity to live naturally is an important part of raising quality food.

From Our Farm to Your Table

There's something special about knowing where your food comes from.

Our pork starts right here at Peabody Farm and makes its way to families, food lovers and restaurants throughout the region. We raise our animals with care and take pride in producing food we're happy to put on our own table.

We also work with other farmers by providing heritage piglets, helping more people experience the rewards of raising these wonderful animals.

For us, farming isn't about rushing. It's about doing things properly, taking care of what we've been given, and always looking for ways to do a little better.

More Than a Farm

Peabody Farm has always been about more than raising animals.

We love bringing people together. We believe small farms have an important role to play—not only in producing food, but also in creating connections between people, supporting other local businesses, and helping keep rural communities vibrant.

Over the years, we've hosted farm-to-table dinners, seasonal markets, fundraisers, weddings, private events, and community gatherings. Our Christmas and Easter Markets bring together local farmers, makers, artisans, and food producers, creating a place where neighbours and visitors can discover the incredible people and products that make our region special.

There is something special about sharing a meal, meeting the people who grew or made your food, and enjoying a beautiful day in the country.
